Hello again…. I doubt any key collector has this Canadian made hand key on his shelf.  The name Wilson is on the underside so it is an original, not a copy.  I have searched high and low for info on this teardrop shaped WWII RCAF hand key with little success which makes me think it is very rare.  For sure it is not as common as the J38.  This is certainly the first one I have ever seen.  It is in good working order, but it needs a bit of TLC to make it look great.  I would suggest carefully disassemble and buffing some of the metal parts… or just leave it in its patina condition; like I said it works just fine as is and the person on eham thought it was a wonderful hand key.   Being RCAF WWII vintage, it was well built and built to last…. and it has lasted all these years.  thanks for looking…. regards… Ron  VE4SR

Update… since listing this key, I want to thank a couple of hams who gave me additional info on this Wilson key; both saying how well it works and that it is not quite as rare as I thought; nevertheless few hams have this particular key in their collection.  Also, the feedback I am getting is that the price is what it should be.
