A classic 509 and one of the first production CW/SSB rigs on the market.
This is one of the early 509s with only a few minor mods done to it
It had been modified by a previous owner with the Phono antenna connector replaced with a BNC and the phono power connector replaced with a coaxial power jack.
Works well with ~2.5w on 80m and ~4.5w on 40, 20, 15 and 10m.
There are some scatches on the cover and front panel and it is missing the plastic trim on the top, but it functions as it should and sounds great.
