Super-elastic Signal Stick BLACK SMA MALE

These are hand-made, ultra lightweight, and nearly indestructible antennas which outperform the stock antenna your handheld radio came with by a significant margin.

  • Dual band version 1/4 wave 2M, 3/4 wave 70cm, approx 19″ long
  • Made of Nitinol , a very resilient and ridiculously flexible nickel-titanium alloy
  • Extremely light-weight — reduces connector strain on your radio!
  • Hand-made by hams in USA
  • Power limits: 100 Watts max at 50% duty cycle or 50 Watts max at 100% duty cycle
  • See full specs and list of compatible radios on SignalStuff website
  • THIS IS THE BLACK MODEL WITH SMA MALE – Check the Compatible radio list to assure it will fit your HT. I don’t accept returns.

I’ve had it less than one day. As the website states, it’s extremely flexible. I’m now hearing a repeater 22km away full quieting that I could barely hear with the Yaesu stock duck antenna. I can also access the repeater at 1.5W when the stock antenna would not access it at 5W.

Comparison: I had the MFJ 1717S that was also very flexible and offered excellent performace. The issue is that I had two and on both the radiator broke off at the base. MFJ replaced the first at no cost under warranty. The second was out of warranty by 2 months so no free replacement. Also, the antenna is more expensive – $US57 approx $C82 not including shipping or credit card fees.

I’m selling this as I bought it for backup and decided I only need one for my HT and one for my van (see photo).

If you order directly from Signal Stuff, it will cost you about $C60 with shipping and exchange, not including credit card service charges. They are worth every penny and certainly significantly less money than the MFJ equivalent.

I need $50 + shipping. I accept eTransfer, Paypal or cash on pickup in southern MB – Winkler/Morden. (Did you know you can now pay with your credit or debit card via Paypal?)

Yes, you could buy it directly for just a little more, however, you won’t wait weeks as a result of international shipping, as I did!
