This is a Heathkit SB-230 Linear Amplifier that I acquired about 12 years ago from a local Ham.  It was shown to me as working and was estimated to be outputting 800W during the test.  He told me not to expect to be able to get full 1200W output on the old tube.  I never got around to using the amplifier and it has been in house storage ever since.  The amplifier has a few minor scratches on the outside paint job.  The unit was recently powered on by me at reduced voltage just to verify that it powers on and the power meter lights up.  No attempt was made to do extensive testing as I no longer have a shack setup.  The included GI7B tube conversion kit was purchased but no attempt was ever made to do the conversion.  The original users manual is included as well as some other support documents.
