Some of you may have noticed problems with the Contact Seller form emails recently. The issue was caused by the hosting mail server reaching its limits when processing a large number of New Listing Alerts. Bad or outdated addresses caused other emails to be deferred or stuck in the queue.

Our service provider has now increased the mail server capacity, and delivery should be back to normal.

As an extra precaution, you may want to add your email address directly into the body of your listing so buyers have another way to reach you if needed.

👉 Special Note for Yahoo Users: It appears that Yahoo is no longer reliably accepting bulk/multiple emails from the New Listing Alert system. If you use a Yahoo address and aren’t receiving alerts, you may want to try another email provider for this feature.

You can also stay up to date using the Hamshack.ca RSS feed, which always shows the most recent listings without relying on email. Most browsers, email clients, or RSS reader apps will handle it easily:

How to Use the RSS Feed

• In Chrome (or Edge/Brave/Opera): Chrome no longer has a built-in RSS reader, but you can install a free extension such as RSS Feed Reader or Feeder. Once installed, paste in the Hamshack.ca RSS link above. You’ll see a small icon in your browser showing the latest listings.

• In an Email Service: Many email apps like Outlook, Thunderbird, or online services like Feedly let you subscribe to RSS feeds. Just add the link above into the app’s “Add Feed” or “Subscribe” option, and new listings will appear automatically alongside your regular emails or feeds.

This way, you’ll always have the most up-to-date listings at your fingertips—whether you prefer them in your browser or right in your inbox.
