For Sale:  Ameritron ALS-500M solid state, no-tune HF amplifier.

I acquired this amp but have never used it. It is designed for mobile use but can also be used in the shack with a good power supply. Ron VE3NLS of Innovative Circuits, north of Barrie, has checked this amp and run some tests. Ron reports that the amp is in excellent condition and new-clean inside.  With 10 watts of drive, it outputs 300 watts. Ron also reports that there is no 10/12 meter module.  The amp has Toshiba 2SC-2879 finals, not the cheap stuff.

The power cable with the original plug is included. I don’t have a manual, but it is available online on many websites.

I am asking $1,800.00 and that’s pretty firm.  However, I will entertain serious offers.  I can deliver within an hour’s drive of Barrie.  Otherwise, the buyer pays for the shipping.    Feel free to email me or call if you’re interested.
