Have had this IFR FM/AM-1000A communications service monitor in my shack for nearly a decade, but have more recently upgraded to a 1500.

This service monitor can receive and generate signals in the range from 1MHz to 1GHz, and can modulate/demodulate in both AM and FM modulation, it can measure several receiver and transmitter parameters including FM deviation, frequency accuracy, transmit power (up to 100W), etc.

While it has not had a professional calibration done since long before I acquired this, it does seem to still be reasonably good (at least when compared to my other newer test instruments).

The only obvious issue, which is not unexpected for equipment of this age, some of the switches and dials can be slightly intermittent (may need to be cleaned).
