Hamshack.ca has just added a major new feature to make finding the gear you want easier than ever — the Search Alert System. This tool lets you save any search you perform on the Listings page and receive an email notification the moment a new listing matches your search criteria.

Available for registered users, you need to be logged in to save searches. Your Search Alerts can be accessed and managed anytime from your Account page.

How It Works

1️⃣ Perform a Search

Use the Listings search bar and filters to narrow down your results. For example, you might search for transceivers for sale in Victoria.

2️⃣ Save Your Search

Click Save Search above the results list.
In the pop-up, give your search a title, confirm your email, and choose how often you want to be notified. For instant notifications, select When listings match.

3️⃣ Access Your Saved Searches

From your Account page, click Search Alert in the left-hand menu to view all your saved searches.

4️⃣ Manage Your Alerts

Your Search Alert List shows the title, filter, notification type, and status for each saved search. You can toggle alerts on/off or delete them anytime.

5️⃣ Get Email Notifications

Whenever a new listing matches your saved search, you’ll get an email with the results and direct links to the listings.
