HP 8444A Hewlett Packard (Agilent) Tracking Generator .5 1500MHz Rackmount.

Fully functional unit in a very good condition. May show some cosmetic wear from normal use (refer to the detailed pictures), but overall looks and works great!

This HP 8444A Tracking Generator is manufactured a rectangular shaped generator which is equipped with rack mount hardware will allow this HP 8444A to be installed into a rack or cabinet.

Initially without the 500 MHz LO OUT option installed (Third LO purpose). I carefully installed a variable controlled oscillator (VCO190-550Y), mounted in a small board including a voltage regulator, inside the generator with BNC jack installed at the rear and an adjustment potentiometer for fine tuning adjustment in front panel.

See picture: Frequency meter measures the VCO adjusted exactly at 500.000 Mhz. Very stable.
