Alinco EMS-98 Desktop Microphones are dynamic microphones with a built-in preamplifier and adjustable mic gain using the mic gain control located on the bottom of the microphone. The EMS-98 features a PTT switch, a PTT lock switch as well as transceiver channel up/down keys. 3 different microphone cables are included making the EMS-98 compatible with Alinco , DR-235, DR-MD520, DR-735 mobile transceivers.

The EMS-98 is also compatible with the DR-138, DR438, CS10, and CS25 transceivers however, the Up/Down keys will not function properly, also works with some Kenwood transceivers as well.
