Hello Fellow Radio Operators,
My names Rick, as of May 6 2024, I am fairly new to this site and the "hobby" ( i dislike the word hobby. it somehow does not fit) . I found HAMshack only because a friend is an Orca DX'er and QRZ is chalk full of American folk who really do not seem to want to ship cross border and that's fine. There had to be something out there that was more inline with the Canadian market. Having discovered HAMshack listed in the Orca DX sidebar, which I found through a link in QRZ, It quickly became apparent that it was a cool place that caters to Canadians. Lots of interesting items for sale and some are pretty good deals.
That being said, I found a few items I could use and I contacted the sellers.... and here we go!
Ive contact 3 individuals so far and I'm batting 30% I'm not sure what the problem is, but if you have something to sell and someone comes forth, have the common courtesy to address that person in a reasonable amount of time. As well , if a buyer comes forth and says : "I"LL TAKE IT", do the guy a favor and honor his decision. I know this is not always a good practice but you should be able to tell who is and who isn't trustworthy.. yeah? the 66% let down Ive experience right out of the gate, I am hoping is NOT a cross section of what I can come to expect from people here. Not cool in the least. religious or not.. check out this gem: Luke 6:31 it wont take you but 2 seconds to figure it out.. if you cant. I am sorry. My time is valuable. The current state of the country dictates that I have to work twice as hard for half as much and if you're going to waste my time by jerking me or anyone else around.. By rights you should not be allowed to post to these pages, but thats not the case and then you take your bs out on the unsuspecting. Not cool in the least.... y'know? or not?
Anyway, I'm just saying.. Please don't be a stooge. Life is too short to be such a pain in the ........
