Mirage Preamplifiers use ultra-low-noise GaAsFET devices to boost weak receive signals. Their KP-1 series In-Shack Preamps are single unit in-line versions. Mirage Preamplifiers feature automatic RF switching, can handle up to 100 watts bypass, have high or low switchable gain settings of either 15 dB or 25 dB, and offer excellent receive performance with less than 1 dB of added noise. With the closing down of Mirage this in shack preamp will become a rarity
