This is a beautifully-restored 1946-ish Hallicrafters S-40 general coverage receiver that tunes from 550 kHz to 45 MHz. Not the most sensitive radio you’ve ever heard, but put a good antenna on it and you’ll hear lots of signals on all bands.
Works with both AM and SSB/CW signals and is surprisingly stable after a long warmup.
Completely cleaned, repainted and adorned with replacement front panel decals, at a cost well over asking price. Since it’s quite heavy, it will have to be picked up from my home in London, ON.
