This is a stressed Moxon beam. The ‘tails’ of the director and the reflector are aluminum tubes. The tubes are fixed in the director and a wire, completing the reflector, stresses the assembly into a semi-rigid structure. A balun at the centre of the split in the director matches the antenna to the 50-ohm transmission line.

This antenna has a 5 out of 5 rating on eHam.net. Its gain is about 5 dB over my vertical and assuredly quieter than the vertical, as expected.

As you can see from the photos, this is a virtually new antenna since it only was installed in 2024 March and taken down at the end of May.
