I think a "feedback score > 0" on accounts that want to contact people wanting to buy items might help discourage the subtype of scammer who mostly does the Wish Fulfillment Fantasy scam.  The WFF scammer who hit me recently used the SAME PHOTO that I posted in my listing (taken from k6ro's ebay listing) to try to scam me, which made me grin, after briefly making me annoyed.

If a feedback score feature is unfeasible, then I do think some way to encouraging more people to report good transactions and leave positive feedback, will help differentiate long time legit users.

I would also like to know how OLD an account is, and how long it's been on hamshack when I'm made an offer, and if that user has items listed, or previously had items listed. A recently created (less than 1 year old) account may be more likely to be a scammer, if it's new, and if it hasn't got many items listed on the site.

If people can send solicitations to Hamshack.ca users without being verified at all, as I currently suspect to be the case, perhaps that can be improved in some way, even by a warning saying "the following email comes from an unverified source, please do your own checks to verify that this user is really the person that they claim to be, and if you have questions, feel free to discuss in the tips and tricks forum, so you can protect yourself".  This site is of course at our own risk, and it's fine that people have to do their own checking, it's certainly safer than the facebook ham groups in Canada.

Great job on the site, and thanks for having this place for us.
