Cranbrook Radio Club Society

Based in Cranbrook, British Columbia, the Cranbrook Radio Club Society is a community-oriented amateur radio club dedicated to mentoring and educating operators in proper procedures, equipment use, and communications best practices.

As a registered charity, the club emphasizes community service and emergency readiness. They maintain a “Swap & Shop” platform for buying and trading radios, antennas, and related gear (open to members and non-members alike).

CRCS publishes an active blog covering technical topics (e.g. operating etiquette, power-outage procedures, integrating digital modes) and shares news and event updates about the club’s activities. Posts also include information regarding Club meeting minutes and project updates.

Membership is affordable (currently $10/year) and open to those interested in supporting radio communication in Cranbrook and the surrounding area. CRCS also accepts donations (with tax receipts) to support its ongoing work, including upgrades to its communications infrastructure.
