Burnaby Amateur Radio Club

The Burnaby Amateur Radio Club, VE7BAR, is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports amateur radio activities in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

The club operates a VHF repeater on 145.350 MHz with an offset of minus 600 kHz and a UHF repeater on 442.850 Mhz with an offset of +5 Mhz. Both repeaters use a tone of 127.3 Hz. Please note our repeaters are not currently linked.

We operate two nets each week on our VHF repeater, VE7RBY. We have a Check-in net Mondays nights and a Technical net on Thursday nights. Both start at 20:00.

Our members meet informally on Saturday mornings from 10 am to noon at Cariboo Park on the corner of 10th Ave and Cariboo Rd in Burnaby on good weather days from April to October and in the basement of the Salvation Army Hall at 6125 Nelson Ave during the winter and on bad weather days. Everyone is welcome to join us.

For more information about the club, please visit our website at ve7bar.org, or our Facebook page at: facebook.com/groups/ve7bar.org
