Thanks for Visiting Featured Seller: VE3MJZ
Located in Braeside, Ontario just north/west of Ottawa I am retired from the electronics industry. My last 15 years was spent supporting Aerospace, and Space contracts with General Dynamics in Ottawa. I started out developing an interest in electronics when I was a teenager, and my Dad was a Ham. It was one of his true passions. That was back in the 70’s. My Dad (Arthur Binnie) maybe some remember him as he was in the Airforce and his trade was Telecom/Satcom. He not only understood the radios of that era but he had the books, and designed his own transmitter and receiver which he used many years. In the later 70’s as he had more money he purchased commercial ham transceivers. He was into 2 meters, HF SSB, and 432MHZ Satellite, moon bounce, and CW.
Many years ago my Dad left all the Ham equipment and hobby electronics to me. I am older now and do not have anyone in the family that can use.
I will be needing to downsize in upcoming years as I ‘m on 3 acres which is too much upkeep. Way too much! That said it’s time to catalogue and try to find homes for lots of older Ham equipment and electronic devices. In my teen years I learned to design with Tubes thanks to Dad before I went to College and learned to design with transistors and IC’s. I have quite an electronics repair shop from back in the early 1980/90’s and lots of spare parts.
I am hoping to provide Amateur radio and hobbyists with a whole lot of parts so they can enjoy hobbies like I have through the years. I will be listing items as I get time. I have items including:
- HF, VHF transceivers, and amplifiers
- PKRATT 232
- Swr bridge
- Filters, attenuators
- Antenna filter, antenna noise bridge
- Tubes, tube sockets, and tube spec books
- Coax connectors
- Analog meters
- Antenna Switches
- Transformers, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors
- Power supplies
- Logic and Linear IC’s, transistors, LED’s capacitors, resistors, etc
- and more…
I have many items not listed in the electronics area. If you don’t see something your looking for just contact me and ask as it is likely I do have and have not yet got around to cataloging and listing.

I prefer curbside pickup, but will ship Canada post anywhere, priced varies depending on the size and weight of the items purchased.
That said I am sorry to state that I will no longer sell small orders via mail (unless it is fits into the smallest Canada Post bubble wrap and is less than 1 inch wide so it can be mailed as a envelope…. not parcel at parcel rates). At least 5 people canceled their order when they found out what Canada Post wanted for parcel post shipment.
That said if (1 inch wide so it can be mailed as a envelope) you can expect a shipment at a low cost. Otherwise I have not had a shipment (>1 inch wide) come in under $14 and in general mid $25 range.
A $25 minimum order quantity due to the cost of Postal rates (if you want mailed).
Payment – I don’t do the e-transfers due to fraud. I only taking cheque, money order, or a Canada Post
Money Gram. Sending payment via cheque is the least cost to you.
A Canada Post MoneyGram is the fastest method of payment but they charge $10 for the service. With the
money gram you go in with my name and address, and they send direct to the post office here. It’s fast
