These are accurate, expensive meters, Model 44AP, 20MHz-1000MHz, 5-500W, no slugs! Improved over the Bird 43 for VHF/UHF work.
Meter has ‘off’ function, which ‘brakes’ the meter movement, keeping it from swinging in transit.
The 44AP has a -40dB tap, allowing some specific repeater measurements. Supplied with leatherette soft case.
