I’m looking for a good used functional Kenwood R-5000 for my elderly father with cognitive disabilities. He previously owned the same model and had it damaged by lightning. I’ve tried purchasing a few different used shortwave receivers but everyone of them had faults. He is familiar with the controls on a Kenwood receiver so even another model would suffice.
