I wanted to take this time to let you know that ALL proceeds from the sale of items that I have listed on the Swap Shop will be going directly to charity. Money raised will be going to the Mission and Outreach Committee of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Halifax. The money will be used in support of an international program that works to provide fresh fruit to orphanages in Africa. Any additional funds will be given to the local committee who work on behalf of the Threads of Life (program to assist injured workers) or to a scholarship to a graduate of the high school in Upper Tantallon in memory of one of their students who died as a result of a fire in a body shop in Dartmouth a few years ago. This scholarship is given to a graduate entering either the body repair or auto mechanic program at the Nova Scotia Community College.

I will be at the HARC swap shop on May 27th. also.
